Our Mission
At EAD, training goes beyond building physical ability. Our mission is to develop the whole athlete AND the whole person.
One of the main reasons I, John Bloom, stepped away from college coaching was because of the shift I saw in the landscape of college athletics. It was becoming more and more transactional. Athletes were transferring after just one year, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships and impact over time was getting harder and harder.
Starting EAD has been a game-changer. It’s allowed me to work with middle school and high school athletes—young people who are in a critical stage of development, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to support both sides of that journey. I also love that I now have the opportunity to work with individuals for years instead of months.
Training isn’t just about sports. It’s about life. It's about building habits, mindsets, character, and leadership skills that stay with you forever. Whether you pursue athletics at the next level or take a different path, we want to help prepare you to be successful and impactful—not just in your games, but for the next 50 years.
That’s why two of our core beliefs are:
-
Train With Purpose, Lead With Impact
-
Athletes Today, Leaders For Life
This isn’t just about getting better today. It’s about becoming someone who makes an impact for the rest of your life.
